Yoshi was born and raised in Japan and he is a devoted follower and practitioner of Japan's varied spiritual traditions.

Having completed a B.A diploma of Law at Meijigakuin University in Tokyo, Yoshi has decided to see what the world has to offer and moved to France, with Paris becoming his home for a number of years.

It is there that he began to study photography, pursue his passion and grow as an

artist. It was around the same time that Yoshi met one of the disciplines of Feng Zhiqiang in Paris. Feng Zhiqiang is one of the successors of Chen style Hun Yuan Taichi qi gong - father of contemporary Tai Chi Qi Gong. Ever since encountering this practice and realising the profound impact that it had in Yoshi’s personal life, he has not only followed but mastered this practice.

About six years ago now, Yoshi has made a move to Finland where he gives workshops around the country combining art and Taichi Qigong.

Yoshi uses the following tools and his own voice to guide one into a deep meditative state:

Katakamuna Utahi

Heart sutra

Mantra Tibetan singing bowls

Chen style

Hunyuan Taichiquan 24 form by Yoshi Omori.

This work consist to make harmony of Taiji circle, the balance of Yin and Yang, an ancient Taoist philosophical term symbolizing the interaction of yin and yang, which are opposite manifestations of the same forces in nature. The dynamic interaction of yin and yang, underlying the relation and changing nature of all things.

Hunyuan means Primordial Origin. This original Qi of the universe is what heaven, earth, and human beings are formed from. By cultivating a return to this original unity with meditation and movement, combining body, mind and soul, we manifest the tranquility of eternity and the power of universe and earth. Chen Style Hunyuan Taijiquan has forms suited for beginners and practitioners of all age groups.
